Senior 1 Tennents:
• Train 5 strokes and compete in all events
• Great kickers are great swimmers
• Learn and perform excellent technique practiced at maximum speed with minimum strokes and managing breaths
• Self-determined learning of stroke techniques that allows for increased distance per stroke (DPS) without decreasing cycle rate
o Drills, kicking, repetition, visual, dryland and PERFECT practice
o Start and turn improvement addressed at practice, and repeated at all times
• Improved fitness through – learning cycle rate in target heart rate zones and understanding the significance of heart rate to training
